Samsung Galaxy S3: Specifications leaked

Just a few weeks, the experts reckoned that Samsung unveiled at Mobile World Congress (MWC), the successor to its flagship Android-S2 Galaxy. Prior to the fair, the manufacturer agreed, however, the Galaxy will be presented to Samsung Galaxy S3 at a later date.



Now the rumors of a potential strike date for the presentation and launch of new smartphones. There are always new information on the specifications of the phone. Now, the online portal Boy Genius Report has re-released a list of alleged details of the Galaxy S3. This sounds more realistic.

According to the report, the Samsung S3 Galaxy a 4.8-inch full HD screen (1920 × 1 080 pixels) with an aspect ratio of 16:9 offer. The display would therefore be somewhat larger than the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, which has a 4.65 inch screen. HTC is now in its larger smartphone to 4.7-inch display. Even with respect to these devices, the Samsung Galaxy s3 would therefore greater.
1.5-GHz quad-core CPU and Android 4.0 on board

The new Samsung flagship will be powered by a 1.5-GHz quad-core processor and get a ceramic housing. The smartphone will be equipped with an 8-megapixel camera on the back and a 2-megapixel front camera. The display extends on the front up to the edge of the housing. The operating system gets the Samsung Galaxy S3 directly to launch Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). This should come from the manufacturer known TouchWiz user interface.

The Boy Genius Report reported, moreover, the Samsung Galaxy S3 also support the LTE mobile standard. This raises the question of whether the phone is also used in Europe with an LTE radio module on the market. That's at previous Samsung smartphones not the case, although the manufacturer has shown, for example, already at the IFA in Berlin in September last year the prototype of a Samsung S2 Galaxy with LTE interfaces.

As the first LTE smartphones comes the HTC 4G Velocity in March on the German market. LG at the Mobile World Congress also announced LTE Phones for Europe. Thus, the probability is quite high that Samsung will introduce the other major manufacturers of Android smartphones in the coming months, corresponding devices.
